1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Zona Pest Solutions website located at zonapestsolutions.com ("Site") and any pest control or related services provided by Zona Pest Solutions ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").
By scheduling services, submitting a contact form, making a payment, or otherwise engaging with our Site or services, you ("Customer," "you," or "your") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any portion of these Terms, please do not use our Site or services.
Plain language version: Using our website or booking our services means you agree to these terms. We've tried to write them clearly and fairly.
2. Services Provided
Zona Pest Solutions provides residential and commercial pest control services in the Greater Phoenix Valley, including but not limited to: general pest treatment, scorpion control, termite protection, rodent exclusion, and mosquito station installation ("Services").
All Services are performed by licensed technicians in accordance with Arizona Department of Agriculture regulations. Specific service details, scope, and pricing will be outlined in your service agreement or estimate prior to work commencing.
Service Area
We currently serve Scottsdale, Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Tempe, Fountain Hills, Paradise Valley, Phoenix, and surrounding communities. We reserve the right to decline service outside our standard service area at our discretion.
Service Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice where possible. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of Services.
3. Scheduling & Property Access
By scheduling service, you confirm that you are the property owner or have the authority to authorize pest control treatments at the property. You agree to provide safe, reasonable access to your property for our technicians to perform the agreed Services.
Appointment Windows
We will provide an appointment window and do our best to arrive within that window. Factors outside our control (traffic, prior jobs running long, weather) may occasionally affect timing. We will contact you if we anticipate significant delays.
Re-entry Intervals
Following interior treatments, we will advise you of any re-entry intervals required for the safety of your household, including children and pets. Please follow all technician instructions carefully.
4. Payment Terms & Pricing
Payment is due at the time of service unless a recurring service agreement with a different billing schedule has been established. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, check, and ACH transfer. Prices are subject to change; we will notify you in advance of any pricing changes to your recurring plan.
Recurring Service Plans
Customers enrolled in recurring service plans agree to the billing frequency outlined in their service agreement. Auto-pay is available and encouraged for recurring plans.
Returned Payments
A fee of $30 may be assessed for any returned checks or failed ACH transactions. Continued failed payments may result in suspension of service.
5. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
We ask for at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule a scheduled appointment. This allows us to offer that time slot to other customers in need.
For recurring service plans, cancellation may be made with 30 days written notice. Any prepaid services not yet rendered will be refunded on a pro-rated basis.
No cancellation fees. We don't believe in trapping customers. If you need to cancel, just let us know — we only ask for reasonable notice.
6. Service Guarantee & Re-Services
We stand behind our work. If you experience pest activity covered by your service plan between scheduled treatments, contact us and we will return to re-treat at no additional charge, subject to the following conditions:
- The property has received at least one initial treatment under your current plan
- The pest activity falls within the scope of your service plan
- The re-service is requested within a reasonable time of the covered treatment
- Conditions on the property have not materially changed (e.g., new construction, significant landscaping changes, hoarding conditions)
Our guarantee does not cover pest infestations caused by extreme seasonal surges, new entry points created after treatment, or pests outside the scope of your service plan.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Zona Pest Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use our Services.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to our Services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Zona Pest Solutions in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Property Damage
We carry general liability insurance and will address any damage to your property caused directly by our technicians in the course of providing Services. Claims must be reported within 14 days of the service date.
8. Safety Preparation & Responsibilities
To ensure safe and effective treatment, customers are responsible for:
- Removing or covering food, dishes, and food prep surfaces prior to interior treatment
- Securing or relocating pets during treatment and for the duration of any re-entry interval
- Informing our technicians of any known sensitivities, allergies, or medical conditions that may be relevant
- Disclosing the presence of fish tanks, birds, or other sensitive animals so appropriate precautions can be taken
Zona Pest Solutions is not responsible for adverse outcomes resulting from a customer's failure to follow pre-treatment preparation instructions or re-entry interval guidelines provided by our technicians.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos, photographs, and software — is the property of Zona Pest Solutions or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this Site without our prior written permission.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.
Before initiating any legal action, you agree to first contact us in good faith to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We're real people running a local business and we genuinely want to make things right.
